100 Calorie Diet Tip #57 - Smaller Plates = Smaller Meals = Smaller WAIST

Our portions here in America just keep getting bigger and bigger every year.  One way to have smaller portions and to not feel like you are having smaller portions is to use smaller plates when eating your 100 calorie meals.  It doesn’t matter if your meal is 100, 200 or 500 calories if you serve it and eat it on a smaller plate it is going to look like it is a lot of food.  I also try to serve my meals on nice pretty plates as often as I can.  Eating elegantly makes the meal feel more special and it will also help you to be more aware of what you are eating. . .   instead of just stuffing your face as fast as you can with whatever is on your plate.
