100 Calorie Diet Tip #58 - Don’t Ever Be Hungry On A Diet

Our diet was designed for people who love to eat.  We love to eat and we go out of our way to find ways to not be hugry and still lose weight.  The main trick we have found is to eat  "zero" calorie foods.   "Zero" calorie foods are foods that are  very low in calories and high in fiber so your body will burn up more calories to digest them then there was in them to start with.  (Did that make sense?)  Here is just one example:

 

Greek Salad Lettuce Wraps

1 Large Head of Iceberg Lettuce - FREE
1 Large Vine Ripened Tomato, Chopped - FREE
½ Cup Sun Dried Tomatoes, Chopped - FREE
1 Cucumber, Chopped - FREE
½ Green Bell Pepper, Chopped - FREE
3 Tablespoons Capers - FREE
1 Green Onion, Chopped - FREE
1 Tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar - FREE
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice - FREE
Salt and Pepper To Taste - FREE

Wash and core lettuce, soak in ice water for 30 minutes.  Dry lettuce, remove 6-8 outer leaves, wrap in paper towels and refrigerate. Chop ½ of the remaining lettuce and place in a medium mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients, toss until well blended.  Chill mixture for 1 hour.  Place 2-3 heaping tablespoons of filling in the center of each lettuce leaf.  Wrap and tuck corners under.
Makes six FREE servings.

Tasty Option Box
*Add ¼ cup feta cheese to the filling for about 100 calories.  Awesome added taste!
*Five olives will add only 25 calories to your wrap.
