100 Calorie Diet Tip #68 - Don’t Be A Computer Potato

These days we find ourselves sitting for hours and hours on the computer.  Maybe you work at a computer all day long or maybe you just like to socialize or play games on them.  But sitting like this all day is very vary bad for our diet efforts and very very bad for our health.  Here is a list of the TOP 5 Things You Should Do If You Sit At A Computer All Day:

1.  Make sure you get up every hour and do some type of exercise for 5 or 10 minutes.  Examples:  Walk around Briskly, Do Jump n Jacks, March in Place, Pretend to Jump Rope, etc.  Also, include some stretching.
2.  Sit up and don’t slouch at your desk.  The best position for your back is slightly reclining back.  Get a good chair!
3.  Elevate your feet.
4.  Drink one cup of water every hour.
5.  Stretch your neck and rest your eyes.  Try to do this every few hours.
