100 Calorie Diet Tip #80 - Build Muscle Burn Fat

Girls usually don’t want to hear this and guys love to hear this…but the truth is the more muscle you have in your body the more calories you will burn throughout the day.  Even when you are sitting and even when you are sleeping.  Having more muscle mass in your body will also mean you can eat more food than the person with less muscle mass.  So what does this mean?   This means that you should absolutely have weight training or weight lifting as part of your exercise plan.  No you say?  It is too hard you say?  I’m here to tell you as one "fat" person to another… it is NOT too hard.  It is very simple and very easy.  And it only takes about 15 minutes.  Here is my favorite book on weight lifting.

 

 

P.S.  Girls… don’t worry… you will not bulk up at all.  You will just look nicely toned. :)
