Do you think you are getting in all your fruits and vegetables for the day? How do you know if you don’t keep track of it? You don’t! Some people don’t get enough in and some people get too many in. But the only way to know for sure is to check them off. Sometimes I do this with a simple little index card, but if you like a more formal way we have our 100 Calorie Food Journal for free when you get our book. It has check off boxes for all your nutritional needs through out the day.
Here is a simple way to get in some fresh fruits and vegetables for the whole family. Before you start cooking dinner, cut up some fruits and vegetables and put them on the counter in pretty little bowls. This way the family has some snacks that are good for them to munch on while you get dinner ready. Simple…Easy…Smart!
