Oh boy!  We got hit hard this week with coughing, sneezing, sore throats, headaches and bodyaches!  OMG!  We were sick and feared the worse…Swine Flu!!!  As Michael and I lay on the couch moaning and groaning, coughing and sneezing, I think, "We need some of that Jewish Penicillin also know as good old fashioned chicken and noodle soup."  I wasn’t thinking about that glop from a can, I’m talking about homemade chicken soup from the most natural and freshest ingredients available!  Hmm…What to do?  What to do?  I know, Grandma to the rescue!!!  I call my mom and tell her it’s a matter of life and death, she has simply got to come over and make some of her famous chicken and noodle soup.

Within no time, Mom has come to our rescue and Michael and I are sipping the richest, the tastiest, the most savory, salty and yummy soup available on the planet!  We immediately feel so much better that I think it’s a miracle!  Nothing like Grandma’s Old-Timey Chicken and Noodle Soup to cure what ails ya!

Having grown up with that recipe also — I can attest to the fact of its healing powers.  A big portion of its power comes from the love involved with making it as a cure.  Granny Eugenia had that down pat.  Hope you guys are doing better
