In this crazy world we live in, there are so many decisions to make. Hey, it used to be we had to decide between paper and plastic at the supermarket (a diffilcult decision for me since I like doulble-bagged paper but was never really sure if paper was the right decision for the environment). NOW, I have to decide between paper, plastic or reusable cloth "green" bags. They say reusable bags are good for the environment, but will it put the bag manufacturers out of business? I don’t know, I’m not an economist, so I have yet another decision to make. Maybe I think too much.
Anyway, another decision I have to make everyday is what’s for lunch. This is a very important decision for me ’cause I love to eat and lunch is important to me.
So, Roy and I are at work yesterday and lunchtime approaches. Here’s the conversation:
Roy: "I’m hungry, what are we going to have for lunch?"
Susie: "I don’t know, what are you in the mood for?"
Roy: "I don’t know, what are YOU in the mood for? Chinese?"
Roy: "Papa Joe’s, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Smokey Bones, Taco Bell?" (See what I mean by so many decisions?)
Roy: "Okay, Mom, there’s not much left, why don’t YOU decide!"
Susie: "Burger King, McDonald’s, Pollo Tropical?"
Susie: "Hey, I got it! How about Panera Bread?"
Roy: "YUM! Panera Bread it is!"
I love Panera Bread for lunch because they always have they heartiest soups and freshest salads. I’ve never been disappointed with Panera Bread. The really great thing about The 100 Calorie Diet is that we could have chosen any of the places mentioned and still stayed on plan.
