Lunch is always a challenge for me.  Where to go?  What to eat?  Thank goodness I have a Panera Bread within walking distance.  I get a little exercise from the walk and an absolutely delicious lunch.

Panera Bread’s salads are are always fresh and crisp.  Two of my favorites are the Greek Salad and Classic Cafe Salad.  I love me a big salad, don’t you?  The good news is that most salad ingredients are FREE on The 100 Calorie Diet.  But, you have to be careful about calories in cheese and salad dressing!.  The Greek Salad has romaine lettuce (FREE), tomatoes (FREE), feta cheese (100 calories per 1/4 cup), peperoncini (FREE), Kalamata olives (5 for 25 calories), pepper (FREE), and Greek Dressing (100 calories for 2 tablespoons).  ALL the ingredients in Panera Bread’s Classic Cafe Salad are FREE on The 100 Calorie Diet.  You can have 3/4’s of their Balsamic Vinaigrette serving for about 100 calories.

Do you like a sandwich for lunch?  Have a 1/2 of a Chicken Caeser on Focaccia Bread for only 400 calories or their  1/2 Chicken Tomesta on Three Cheese for about 300 calories.

Susie says, "Check out Panera Bread, you’ll love, love, love it!"
