Yang! Yang! Yang! Happy Monday to all my 100 calorie peeps!!! Each day this week I will be featuring recipes that burn more fat, melt more fat and flush that stubborn fat from your body. I will be using the ingredients from the top 100 fat fighting, fat melting, fat burning, fat flushing foods that I introduced to you last week. Enjoy!
Grilled Tilapia w/Spinach and Tomatoes
4 – 4 oz. Tilapia Fillets – 800 Calories
Salt, Pepper and Garlic To Taste
Non-Stick Cooking Spray - FREE
¼ Cup Beef Stock – FREE
2 Garlic Cloves, Minced - FREE
2 Green Onions, Minced – FREE
1 Lb. Fresh Spinach - FREE
2 Cups Cherry Tomatoes – FREE
1. Fire up the grill.
2. Prepare fillets with salt, pepper and garlic to taste.
3. Spray grill with non-stick cooking spray and grill fish about 3 minutes each side or until desired doneness (I like my fish well done). Set aside.
4. Bring beef stock to a boil in a heavy non-stick skillet, add garlic and onions and sauté for about 2 minutes.
5. Add spinach, salt and pepper to taste and sauté until wilted, about 3 minutes.
6. Transfer the spinach to a serving platter, top with the tilapia fillets keeping it warm.
7. Add tomatoes to your skillet and cook over high heat for about 3 minutes or until desired doneness.
8. Arrange tomatoes on the platter. Serve immediately.
Makes Four 200 Calorie Servings.
Super Easy Baked Flounder
4- 4 Oz. Flounder Filets – 800 Calories
1/8 Cup Beef Broth - FREE
1 Medium Onion, Diced - FREE
2 Garlic Cloves, Minced - FREE
1 Small Can Sliced Mushrooms, Drained - FREE
1 16 Oz. Canned Diced Tomatoes, Drained - FREE
Salt and Pepper To Taste - FREE
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place the filets into a baking dish.
3. In a heavy non-stick skillet, sauté the onions and garlic in beef broth for about 3 minutes.
4. Add mushroom and tomatoes and cook on medium for another 5 minutes.
5. Pour mixture over fish.
6. Cover and bake for 30-40 minutes.
Makes Four 200 Calorie Recipes.
