I made some delicious Beef Burgundy and would like to share the 100 calorie recipe with all my peeps out there in the blogosphere. Enjoy!
Susie’s 100 Calorie Beef Burgundy
1 1/2 Teaspoons Vegetable Oil - 50 Calories
1/8 Cup All Purpose Flour - 50 Calories
Salt, Pepper and Garlic To Taste - Free
15 Oz. Stew Beef - 1000 Calories
2 Cup Beef Broth - Free
1/2 Cup Carrots, Sliced - Free
8 Oz. Fresh Mushrooms, Sliced - Free
5 Oz. Burgundy - 100 Calories
1 Cup Canned or Frozen Pearl Onions - Free
1. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, salt, pepper and garlic.
2. Dredge beef in seasoned flour.
3. In a large Dutch Oven, heat oil to medium high.
4. Add beef and brown on all sides.
5. Add all ingredients except onions to pot.
6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until beef is tender.
7. Add onions and continue to cook for 5 more minutes.
Makes Six Hearty, Comforting 200 Calorie Servings
