Hey football fans! It’s only a day away. The day you wait for all year! The Super Bowl! Ask me about Super Bowl Party plans, menus, drinks and recipes, I’m your girl. Ask me who’s playing, I haven’t a clue! LOL! Let’s get the recipes started!
Superb Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms
24 Baby Portobella Mushroom Caps - FREE
2, 9 oz. Boxes of Green Giant Chopped Frozen Spinach - FREE
1 Tablespoon McCormick Garlic Powder - FREE
4 oz. Vigo Feta Cheese - 400 Calories
4 oz. Sargento Asiago Cheese - 400 Calories
1. Thaw frozen spinach, drain thoroughly.
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
3. Remove stems from mushrooms and wipe with a damp cloth.
4. Place spinach, garlic powder and cheeses in a medium bowl, mix well.
5. Spray a baking dish with non-stick spray.
6. Fill each mushroom with cheese mixture, place on baking pan.
7. Bake 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Makes Eight 100 Calorie Servings.
Super Ribs, REALLY!
1, 24 oz Bottle of Goya Mojo Criollo - 200 Calories
8 oz. of Sprite - 100 Calories
4 Garlic Cloves, Minced - FREE
1 Teaspoon McCormick Black Pepper - FREE
7 Tablespoons Dixie Crystals Sugar - 700 Calories
2 lbs. Baby Back Pork Ribs - 2000 Calories
1. Whisk the Mojo Criollo, Sprite, garlic, pepper and sugar together in a large bowl.
2. Place baby back ribs in a deep glass pan.
3. Pour marinade mixture over ribs.
4. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
5. Fire up the grill.
6. Cook low and slow on the grill for 1 hour.
7. YUM!!!
