Bistro Beef Burgundy

 

2 Tablespoons Flour - 50
1 Teaspoon Salt - FREE
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper - FREE
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder - FREE
13 oz. (Cooked Weight) Sirloin, Trimmed To 1/4” Fat – 1300
1 1/2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil - 150
1 Medium Onion, Chopped - FREE
1-3 Garlic Cloves, Minced - FREE
5 oz. Burgundy Wine or Dry Red Wine - 100
14 1/2 oz. Can of Beef Broth - FREE
2 Cups Fresh Mushrooms, Sliced - FREE
2 Cups Large Flat Noodles, Cooked - 400

 

1. Combine flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a medium bowl. 
2. Coat beef in flour mix, set aside. 
3. Heat oil in a large skillet. 
4. Add onion and garlic cloves, sauté for 5-10 minutes. 
5. Add floured beef and cook over medium high heat until meat is browned, stirring often. 
6. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. 
7. Reduce heat and cook on medium low for 1 hour or until meat is tender. 
8. Serve over noodles.

 

Makes four 500 calorie servings.
