Italiano Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
6 oz. (Cooked Weight) 95/5 Ground Beef - 300
1 Medium Onion, Chopped – FREE
1 Small Green Pepper, Chopped - FREE
4-6 Garlic Cloves, Minced - FREE
3 Cups Ragu® Traditional Spaghetti Sauce – 400
14 1/2 oz. Can of Diced Tomatoes – FREE
1 Tablespoon Sugar - 50
2 1/2 oz. Dry Red Wine - 50
Salt and Pepper To Taste - FREE
Italian Seasoning To Taste – FREE
4 Cups Cooked Spaghetti – 800
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated - 400
1. In a large pot, brown ground beef with onion, green pepper and garlic on medium heat with a little salt.
2. Add Ragu®, diced tomatoes, sugar, wine, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
3. Bring to a boil, lower heat and cover.
4. Simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Place the meat sauce over hot spaghetti.
6. Top with parmesan cheese.
7. Serve immediately.
