Grandpa’s Collard Green Soup
32 oz. Chicken Stock – FREE
3 oz. Lean Ham, Cubed - 100
2 Cups Fresh Collards, Chopped - FREE
1 Cup Fresh Mushrooms, Sliced – FREE
1 Medium Onion, Chopped - FREE
3 Carrots, Sliced - FREE
1 1/2 Cups Canned Black Beans – 300
14 1/2 oz. Can of Diced Tomatoes – FREE
2 Tablespoons Jalapeno Peppers, Sliced (Optional) – FREE
1 Cup Cooked White Rice – 200
Red Pepper To Taste - FREE
1. Place chicken stock in large soup pot, bring to a boil.
2. Add ham, collards, mushrooms, onion and carrots.
3. Bring back to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer on medium 20-30 minutes or until collards are soft.
4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes.
