Spend The Day In Greece - 100 Calorie Style
Posted by The 100 Calorie Girls
When I think of Greece, I think of art, culture, mythology, Socrates, Plato and best of all, their food! Mmmm… I love me some Greek food! From Dolmas to Greek Salad to Gyro Meat to Baklava. And I just gotta tell you about this great little Greek Bistro here in Central Florida.
It’s hard to find actual authentic Greek food, but I found it at Mykonos Authentic Greek Restaurant in Longwood. They have the BEST Greek salad you can find anywhere, you know, the kind with potato salad underneath all that shredded lettuce, tomatoes, olives and feta cheese. Then there’s the dolmas and gyro meat to die for!
I’ve heard tell that the Mykonos menu is a culmination of generations of Greek recipes. The minute you enter this restaurant, you are taken to the Mykonos island nestled in the Aegean Sea. The aromas wafting from the kitchen are old country Mediterranean. The decor is ancient Greek splendor. Service is authentic and attentive. But what about the food? The best Greek food I’ve ever had! If you ever find yourself in Central Florida, check out Mykonos. You’ll love, love, love it!!!

OK I’m jealous; I love the Greek food also.
That looked good enough to eat.
We’ll have to go there on our next visit.
