I think it’s a great day for recipes, don’t you?  I got this great pork chop recipe from my mom and when I tried it, it was WOW!  So simple, yes so tasty.  Here goes:

Mom’s Awesome Pork Chops

2 Tablespoons Butter - 200 Calories

1 lb. Center Cut Pork Chops - 800 Calories

Salt, Pepper and Garlic To Taste - FREE

1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Melt butter in a baking pan.

3. Sprinkle both sides of chops with salt, pepper and garlic.

4. Place chops in baking pan, turn over to coat both sides with butter.

5. Bake for 40-50 minutes until chops are golden brown.

Makes five 200 calorie servings.

Serve with a medium baked potato (200 calories) topped with 1 tablespoon of sour cream (100 calories) and 1/2 cup green beans (FREE).  There you got it, a delicious and nutritious 500 calorie dinner fast and easy!
